It has been little over a year since I started my etsy shop, but the name "The Skull Bank" is new. The name I started out with was "Tiny Ox", because I'm born in the Taurus' starsign, love oxes and also you have to start somewhere, am I right?!
But, it didn't feel quite right, in fact The Skull Bank seemed a much better fit, because:
1) I like to make skull art (amongst other things - just art in general), like drawings and pendants and so forth, and the thought was that it could be somewhat of a storage space for skulls of different kinds (and so many other things, of course).
2) It represents all the ideas, fantasies, (day)dreams and emotions that me and you and everyone else carry within ourselves in our own skull banks, so to speak (cheesy, but true, ha ha).
And that latter point is what made me want to start this blog; because all those things are what gets me creating in the first place; not to mention that it's fun and IS THE WHOLE POINT IN ITSELF!
So, with the help of a few magic wands:

SlettSo cute! I'm so glad I read this. I love your cheesy skull bank name now! It definitely has a lot of meaning :D if you would like to know, mine is something my boyfriend and I say all the time. "why are you being such a salty pickle" ..its kind of a little inside thing.. also i wanted "whichcraft" but it was taken and that makes me sad. so I couldn't think of a better name aside from saltypickles and i love it!

I love to learn the meaning behind names and things, and it's so fun to know why you call your shop The Salty Pickle, because I was wondering about that, but forgot to ask! Is being a salty pickle a good or a bad thing by the way? Lol, it sounds like maybe someone is being annoying or difficult in some way? Haha. Also, Whichcraft is a really rad name too. Sucks it was taken, but you ended up with a cool name because of it, though.:)
